The commentary, analyzing:
– the devastating physical, mental, and artistic decline of Norval Morrisseau specifically detailing how multiple Strokes, Dementia, Alcohol Dementia, and Parkinson’s effectively ended his painting career by the mid-1990s, and
– the worst case of elder abuse in Canadian history,

1 – Norval Morrisseau – Drinking During Filming, National Film Board of Canada 1974

Norval was so dedicated to drinking that the NFB crew had great difficulty shooting and cutting around his tottering body and slurred speech.

Norval believed that drinking liberated and maximized his creative juices.

Is that true?

You be the judge.

Obviously the Director wanted Norval to paint something for the camera, which was extremely difficult.

I personally believe the one piece Norval is attempting to paint is probably the worst Morrisseau creation I have ever seen.

In this clip you can clearly see several distinct stages of Norval’s drinking that the cameramen on location, and the editor back home, no matter how they creatively cut to cover Norval’s intoxication, they did not succeed.

I happen to believe the NFB should have aborted their shoot instead of filming a man not putting his best foot forward. To crassly and deliberately make the audience think the worst of him — and by extension, all Canadian Aboriginal people – instead of the best.

I don’t know a decent cameraman who would do such a thing.

I have been a top Canadian cinematographer involved in shooting films and videos all over Canada – many of them international award winners – for some forty years. From 1975 to 2008 I have shot many films on Canadian Aboriginal peoples, all over Canada.

I have never, ever shot anyone that was drunk or drinking, though I have seen more out of control drinking than anyone you know.

Too many NFB and CBC crews, think it’s neat to film Indians drinking. Even though they know the behaviour is revolting to general Canadian audiences, and makes them think the worse of Aboriginal peoples.

I think it’s a national disgrace that they do it with publicly funded films.

I would not want my brother, my father, or mother filmed when they were drunk. And neither would any decent human being that I know of.

And I would extend exactly the same courtesy to Canadian Aboriginal peoples.

Far too many filmmakers, and NFB and CBC producers, let their cameras express their racism, when funded by the Canadian taxpayer.

By treating Canadian Aboriginals as less deserving of basic human considerations they extend to white people, as so many NFB and CBC crews have routinely done.

2 – Norval Morrisseau – Drinking on the Streets of Vancouver c 1987

Clearly Norval, at the end of the 1980s, looks old for his age, on the outside, FAR WORSE ON THE INSIDE…

Certainly old friends noted that the quality of his painting declined severely at the same time. His best work is years behind him.

What is going on inside his body is far worse, as a life of full-time alcohol and drug abuse soon brought on several Strokes, Dementia, Alcohol Dementia, and Parkinson’s, preventing him from painting, and finally from talking or communicating.

A deadly, but inevitable progression that his “greedy white business partners” took great precautions to hide from the public, as they were producing numerous new and large canvases bearing his name.

At the same time as they were publicizing a Conspiracy Theory that said all the paintings in the hands of their business competitors had been declared fakes by Norval.

None of it was true of course: neither was Norval involved, and neither were any of the paintings ever proven — not a single one — to be a fake. Quite the contrary; Canada’s top forensic experts found them to be authentically signed by Norval Morrisseau, with DNA certainty, and by no one else.

It was just a cold, crass, and diabolical business initiative to try to fix prices and control the market in Morrisseau paintings.

3 – Norval Morrisseau 1997: 1 Stroke, Dementia, & Parkinson’s ravaged – unable to paint or talk

The Dementia and Parkinson’s debilitated Norval Morrisseau, on Sep 29, 1997, just after his second stroke. It features the severely stroke, Dementia, Alcohol Dementia, and Parkinson’s debilitated artist, and two urban white dudes, Ritchie Sinclair and Gabe Vadas, playing dress-up, trying to pretend they’re some kind of Indians.

It shows that, by 1997, Norval’s shaking, is violent, and extremely uncontrollable, even when he removes his hand from the drum, or tries to anchor it on a solid metal handlebar.

It shows that by 1997, Norval has extreme difficulty saying anything intelligible, and mostly just mutters gibberish that is very hard to decipher.

It shows that by 1997, it has been years since Norval has been able to paint anything worthwhile, or say anything fully intelligible.

The next video that has surfaced, the Ryan LeBlanc video of April 2002, shows Norval comatose, unable to interact with anyone and just robot-like, signing whatever is put in front of him.

The only other video clips from the last ten years of Norval’s life (1997-2007) are only of a few seconds duration, and show him unblinking, unmoving, staring into space.

We thank Ritchie Sinclair for preserving this important historic document on the life of Norval Morrisseau, proving that Norval was incapable of painting anything worthwhile by the mid 1990s.

5 – Norval Morrisseau — Awful Elder Abuse: Norval put on “auto-pilot” for the camera at UBC 2000

A devastating business promotion video shows a Stroke, Dementia, and Parkinson’s debilitated invalid sent on a wild joy ride to make it appear he still paints.

By the time this video was made Norval had the most destroyed mind and body of any celebrity in Canadian history. The video that follows has all the appeal of videoing dead people after a road accident.

Norval’s business managers wanted to make it appear Norval was on a gallery tour looking at his paintings.

So they propped Norval up, set his hands on the handle bars, and aimed him, on a straight path along a wall, then pressed the go button.

Norval obviously was incapable of turning the scooter, and probably couldn’t even start or stop it. After the camera cut off you can imagine everyone rushing in to grab and stop the scooter before Norval crashed into something.

From the beginning of this clip Norval is comatose, completely oblivious to people honouring him.

On his buggy he looks neither right or left, doesn’t glance at a single painting, or any bystander. He’s frozen into total immobility by his countless disabilities, and now also by fear…

He’s probably terrified that his white business managers set him adrift on his scooter, for a wild joy ride he knows he cannot control, which would terrify any elder subjected to such an “auto-pilot” joy ride for the camera.

All his handlers — there are at least half a dozen around him – stayed clear and out of camera range to make it appear, to the gullible, that Norval was the active agent and doing it on his own. When he’s obviously surrounded by museum staff worried that something might go wrong and might damage their exhibits, or maybe even Norval

What decent Canadian would do this to a wheelchair invalid?

What decent Canadian would passively watch this being done to a wheelchair invalid? Or permit this to being done in a public museum?

To an invalid who was, since the mid-1990s, physically, mentally, and artistically destroyed by multiple Strokes, Dementia, Alcohol Dementia, as well as Parkinson’s.

If Norval was not a victim of a staged and wild “wheely ride” his handlers would have shown him taking a genuine ride, with turns, and stops and starts in a gallery, or shown him actively painting.

They did not, because Norval was totally incapable of doing any or those things by the time this video was shot in 2000.

So they staged this outrageous and exploitive video.

Throughout the video, Norval does not move his body, head, hands, or eyes at any time or react to anyone, or anything, in any way, and does not speak to, or respond to external stimuli of any kind. He does not shake hands, wave to fans, greet old friends, or sign books.

Norval is a vegetable on display for a business promo.

The truth is, Norval is only a “broken body with a pulse” being coldly trundled about by Gabe Vadas and Michele Vadas, to help them and Kinsman Robinson Galleries promote the sale of his paintings which they control.

This is simply the worst case of elder abuse in Canadian history, as Vadas trundles what is merely a “broken body with a pulse” about for a heartless and exploitive photo op, to aid the financial business interests of the man who has lived off Norval’s talent, paintings, and money as his sole source of income for some 20 years.

As a passionate still photographer, and longtime top Canadian cinematographer, I would never take pictures of a corpse at an accident scene.

As any conscientious son I would, also, never allow anyone to pose for photo ops a parent who was Stroke, Dementia, Alcohol Dementia, and Parkinson’s debilitated, and confined to a wheelchair, unable to communicate, move, or talk anymore.

Let alone set them adrift on auto-pilot for a terrifying wild joy ride down a gallery wall.

6 – Norval Morrisseau – Top Canadian Aboriginal Artist Norval Morrisseau Hoax Exposed

Norval Morrisseau’s principal dealer, Donald Robinson, claims that 1991-2002 was one of his artist’s most prolific and powerful painting periods. But he has never produced a single still picture of Norval painting one of his large canvases during this time, nor, astonishingly, a single video clip of Norval painting in the last fifteen years of his “wheelchair invalid period” of painting. There is no video of Norval even talking in the last 10 years of his life (1997-2007.)

Now a private video tape (from April 2002) has emerged, clearly showing Norval’s mental and physical condition, at the very time his white business managers were saying he was still producing some of his finest canvases.

The video shows that Great Canadian Artist Norval Morrisseau is clearly suffering from advanced Dementia, Parkinson’s, etc., as he is supposedly mentally involved in authenticating his paintings, in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Norval is clearly in a semi-vegetative state. And has probably been in this condition for years.

He is totally passive: an ink pad is put in his hand; pencils are put in his hand; paintings are put in his lap. Note how, he does not even see the last painting before countersigning it as authentic. Nobody talks with him, only at him. No one tries to engage him but leave him hunched over in his tragic isolation as they have conversations with other people they can actually talk “with” not “at.”

It is very clear that Norval’s family members are the organizers of this happening. Visitors talk to them, not Norval. And that Norval is the classic “rubber stamp,” sadly, all that he is capable of, at this deteriorated stage of his life.

It’s not a problem for authenticity because Norval is actually countersigning genuine art he painted years before.

But it raises a huge problem of believability and trust when his Principal Morrisseau Dealer, Donald Robinson, told the National Post only months before (in 2001) that Norval had, in effect, “total recall,” that it was “PREPOSTEROUS” for the journalist to even suggest that Norval couldn’t remember all 10,000 paintings he had painted in a 50 year career.

ASTONISHINGLY, after two more years of precipitous mental decline (early 2004) — beyond what you see in the video – Norval is supposed to have surfed the net, found hundreds of so-called “forgeries,” and made up some seven Affidavits of Forgery targeting top reputable Canadian fine art dealers — all main business competitors of Donald Robinson and his Kinsman Robinson Galleries – and ordered them to stop selling hundreds of paintings Norval had supposedly put on “his list of forgeries.”

And, MOST ASTONISHINGLY, after still two more years of mental decline (in 2005), Norval’s business managers say he is supposed to have come up with the idea for, organized and set up the Norval Morrisseau Heritage Society of academics to authenticate his art, designed the group’s mission statement, selected its baseline “forgeries,” and picked its constituent members (they are gullible and compliant academics from across Canada)… Four years later… If that isn’t preposterous!

So, just like four years earlier, when Norval was comparatively “in better shape,” and Norval’s family handled the “rubber stamp,” Norval’s white business managers stepped into their place, in 2004, for the Affidavits, and 2005 for setting up the NMHS, to manipulate the “rubber stamp.”

The mind boggles, at the lengths to which white businessmen Conspiracy Theorists will go to promote a Hoax for profit.

7 – Norval Morrisseau 2002 – ravaged by Stroke, Dementia, Parkinson’s (Ryan LeBlanc, Thunder Bay)

The Ryan LeBlanc video of April 2002, is a very sad document, that shows Norval comatose, unable to interact with anyone and just robot-like, mindlessly signing whatever is put in front of him.

To a historian the video is a valuable document in that it is the only long video in existence, taken of Norval in the last nine years of his life 1998 – 2007. It allows us to gauge the degree to which Norval interacts with stimuli (people and paintings) around him – he does not.

It shows Norval is comatose, merely used as a prop to put pictures in front of. Then a pencil is put into his hand and he signs robot-like without even looking at what he’s signing.

You decide if this is a good painting verification model…

It confirms, for me as a historian, and corroborates wonderfully other evidence that Norval is mostly “gone,” and only momentarily “lucid,” by early 2002, which is exactly what Wolf Morrisseau testified before Judge Paul Martial, when he said his brother told him he couldn’t remember what he had painted.

Canadians and posterity owe a debt of gratitude to Ryan LeBlanc for preserving this important and telling Canadian historic document.

8 – Norval Morrisseau’s stuff is “all mine” says Greedy Gabe Vadas

Gabe Vadas, one of the “greedy white men” who controlled and manipulated Norval Morrisseau – Canada’s top Aboriginal artist – for the last 17 years of his life. Vadas had taken over Norval’s Power of Attorney on Apr. 24, 1990 and used it aggressively ever after.

Here, in a clip from CBC’s “Life and Times of Norval Morrisseau” Vadas shows classical “greedy white man” possessiveness, which was totally beyond the First Nations “sharing” mentality that motivated Norval all his life.

9 – Norval Morrisseau – CBC Stages Gabe & Michele Vadas “Talking” to a “broken body with a pulse” 2004

By 2004, Norval was little more than a “broken body with a pulse,” so creative film-making techniques had to be used to make it appear Norval was not comatose, when the CBC filmed the “Life and Times of Norval Morrisseau.”

Everyone knows that multiple Strokes, Dementia, Alcohol Dementia, and Parkinson’s, had reduced Norval to little more than a quadriplegic in a wheelchair, who could not talk intelligibly or communicate with anyone since the early 2000s.

Since the mid 1990s, Norval had, in fact, the most debilitated body and mind of any Canadian celebrity in history and was long past being able to paint the canvases for which he gained fame in the 1970s.

But the “greedy white men” who clustered around his wheelchair for financial advantage, like Gabe Vadas, Michele Vadas, and Donald Robinson, were hot and heavy into perpetuating numerous myths:

– that there were “thousands of fakes by umpteen forgers” of Morrisseau art out there, all belonging to their business competitors

– that Norval was mentally alive and had, himself found them all and told them to root them out

– that Norval could remember all the art he ever painted, and his memory was perfect

– that he was physically perfectly capable of painting masterpieces till at least 2001

– that Norval was aware, and approved being trundled about for photo ops to help sales

In fact all of it was false, and part of the biggest Hoax in Canadian history.

This CBC video shows how the media helped perpetuate the myth that Norval “talked,” knew what was going on, etc., when in fact, for years he had only been a “broken body with a pulse.”

Think about it, if you were in this condition – Stroke, Dementia, Alcohol Dementia, and Parkinson’s debilitated and confined to a wheelchair, unable to communicate, move, or talk anymore, with tongue hanging out and drooling – would you want yourself, or a family member, paraded in public, and or exposed on public television, the way Norval’s white handlers are doing.

I would think not.

And I don’t know of a decent human being who would.

I know Norval is screaming inside at what final insult the “greedy white men” have imposed on him just to help them promote their businesses.

But I can tell how the CBC producer, with a job to do, tried to make it appear that Norval was an actively thinking and talking human being.

So the scene had to be staged.

Bring in two actors who can talk, to tart up the scene of a so-called conversation

Plant an open book in Norval’s hands, though Norval hadn’t been able to read for years, and no one knew to what degree Norval could even “see” anymore. His eyes are always fixed and staring without looking at anyone or any external stimuli of any kind as all the videos make clear. He probably responds mostly to noises or being grabbed.

Norval is not filmed actually talking, since the producer reported that Norval couldn’t say a word

So Norval is filmed from behind when he supposedly “talks,” with voice mumblings being added to the sound track, later in the studio, with a reverse angle shot showing Gabe and Michele pretending they are hearing and engaging Norval, when in fact they are not. It’s pure Hollywood.

Norval’s non-communication is so bad that Gabe even says, preposterously, that he can communicate with Norval eye to eye. “I understand him very clearly. But we speak with our eyes also. Sometimes things that aren’t said are said very loud in silence.”

Here they show only Norval’s eyes, carefully avoiding his drooling tongue hanging out.

This preposterous Vadas concept that “things that aren’t said are said very loud in silence” is what is behind the whole Conspiracy Theorist HOAX of “thousands of fakes by umpteen forgers.

Finally, to promote the myth, Vadas give the CBC false information

– about a stroke in 1996, when Norval had at least one — probably more – as early as 1994, or earlier

– “By the dawn of the millennium he could no longer paint.” In fact Norval hadn’t been able to paint like his legendary old self since the very early 1990s at the very latest.

Further telling proof that Norval is literally little more than a “broken body with a pulse” is that Gabe and Michele, throughout, are constantly grabbing Norval, trying to get a reaction for the camera. In fact in the second last scene Norval appears to erupt in anger at all the “affectionate” grabbing he’s been subjected to since the CBC camera appeared on the scene.

What decent Canadian would trot out, for a crass business promotion photo op, a totally Stroke, Dementia, Alcohol Dementia, and Parkinson’s debilitated and comatose wheelchair invalid?

One who was, since the mid-1990s, physically, mentally, and artistically destroyed by multiple Strokes, Dementia, Alcohol Dementia, as well as Parkinson’s

An artist who, for years, was not even aware of where he was, or gave a damn if he did. The facts are:

– that Norval had only brief moments of lucidity left before his mind went blank

– reported by his brother Wolf in 2001-2002

– that Norval Morrisseau for a long time, could not even recognize, at all, former close friends and family as they noted with great distress:

– Gary Lamont since May 2005

– his son Christian since 2006

– his old buddy Marlow Goring in 2006

– that Norval had not been able to communicate or talk intelligibly with anyone for many years

– reliably reported by numerous observers in 2001, 2002

– that Norval could not say a single intelligible word to a CBC producer in 2003-2004

– that no video tape exists of Norval talking intelligibly from the late 1990s on

11 – Norval Morrisseau – Awful Elder Abuse on Display at the Kinsman Robinson Galleries 2004

A devastating zoom into the face of a wheelchair invalid who cannot “see” and has not been able to recognize family or friends for two years at least.

In 2004 the CBC producer shooting a one-hour special on the “Life and Times of Norval Morrisseau,” Canada’s top Aboriginal artist, could not get Norval to utter a single word or paint a single line for his camera. He had to get Norval’s white business manager, Gabe Vadas, to do all the talking for the artist.

This embarrassing zoom into the face of the worst destroyed body of any Canadian celebrity personality in history, was cut off, mercifully, because it’s devastatingly clear, that there is “nobody home.” It has all the appeal of taking photos of dead people after a road accident. Which I am certain is exactly why the editor awkwardly cut it off, leaving the viewer with a great feeling of both visual and emotional discomfort.

In the background, Donald Robinson, one of Norval’s longtime dealers, obviously in great discomfort at what the cameraman is doing, positions himself so he can keep a wary eye on the videographer.

12 – Norval Morrisseau Fraud – Conspiracy Theorist Lawyer Aaron Milrad Promotes the HOAX in 2005

Tom Hagan, who worked for the Corleone Family, had a choice; so did Aaron Milrad, who worked for the Vadas Family.

Since 2001 three or four “greedy white businessmen” — the Conspiracy Theorists – manipulated Canada’s most famous Aboriginal artist, the Stroke, Dementia, and Parkinson’s debilitated, and entirely wheelchair confined Norval Morrisseau, by using his Power of Attorney to aggressively target for destruction, Morrisseau art in the hands of their business competitors.

The HOAX these crass businessmen floated, of “thousands of fakes by umpteen forgers,” as alleged by Milrad in this 2005 CBC video clip, was started the same year (2001) that Gabe Vadas and his wife Michele, finally could no longer manage Norval, who had for years been a wheelchair invalid, and locked him up in a terminal care facility, where Gabe Vadas ruthlessly controlled access to his friends, family, and media.

In 2012, Norval’s brother Wolf, stated, under oath in court, that in 2001-2002, his brother had only minutes of lucidity left, and was mostly “gone” or comatose. Norval further confessed to him that he couldn’t even remember the paintings he had painted.

By May 2005, an old buddy of Norval’s, Gary Lamont, reported with distress, that Norval couldn’t even recognize him at all anymore, or give a flicker of response to seeing his old friend.

That’s the exact same time that Aaron Milrad says he’s acting for Norval and purports to know what Norval wants. It’s nothing, if not preposterous.

In fact Norval had not been in charge of his personal, business, painting, or financial affairs, since Apr. 24, 1990, the date Gabe Vadas had taken over Norval’s Power of Attorney and total control of absolutely every other part of Norval’s life. And had used his power ruthlessly, to store up Norval’s wealth for himself.

(In fact at the very time that Milrad gave the interview, Gabe Vadas had — unbeknownst to Norval, who thought he was too broke, as he told John Geddes two years before, to afford even paint and canvas – some $40 million dollars of Norval’s art hidden away in far away Toronto, in the basement of Donald Robinson’s Kinsman Robinson Galleries. Milrad, in claiming to speak for Norval, is deliberately shading the truth, holding to the absolute thinnest of technical legalities, to which he hangs on only by the fingernails.

If Milrad was more concerned with being transparent, he should have said “I’m acting under the direction of Gabe Vadas, who since 1990, has wielded Norval Morrisseau’s Power of Attorney.” Which is exactly how a legal colleague of Milrad’s, in the same law firm, Eric N Hoffstein, put it when he sent a threatening letter from Gabe Vadas to a dealer during exactly the same time period, probably even the very same month.

Both lawyers were acting in the same business offensive launched by the Vadas and Robinson Family Compact during early 2005.

To his detriment and credibility, Milrad chose to play it cagey, and deliberately tried to lead the public astray. Pretending that Norval was right there at his elbow consulting and guiding him.

Milrad’s statement is all the more egregious because at the time, 2005, numerous independent witnesses gave damning proof that confirmed that Norval was unable to communicate anything to anyone. He was, in fact, beyond giving a damn for anything. And he had been like this for years.

(The phoney Affidavits of Forgery, sent out in 2003-2005, were clearly neither written or vetted by Norval Morrisseau, even though the “bore” his signature.)

And the damning corroborative proof is that for 23 years, neither Milrad, nor his business associates, the Robinsons of the family-owned and operated Kinsman Robinson Galleries of Toronto, have ever been able to produce any video or audio proof whatsoever, of Norval speaking or alleging fakes of any kind whatsoever. Nor do they have letters written by Norval saying there are fakes.

For 23 years Norval was the “Dumb Indian” on all these matters. White businessmen did all the talking for him.

Everything Milrad says is hearsay, from Gabe Vadas and a couple of other self-serving Conspiracy Theorists, and as a lawyer, he knows what that is worth.

In fact in the 13 years since this video was recorded, Milrad has spectacularly and utterly failed to find proof of a single forger or forgery of any kind.

Milrad’s business associates, repeating the same wild claims Milrad makes here, have lost face, and been discredited, by one judge after another, in every court case they have put forward their proof for fakes.

In fact the most disgraced of all is Aaron Milrad, himself.

13 – Norval Morrisseau – Conspiracy Theorist Paul Robinson Announces a new KRG business initiative 2005

Paul Robinson, looking and sounding extremely guilty about the “committee that’s been put together” by him and his father, Donald, Morrisseau art fraud Conspiracy Theorist and owner of Toronto’s family-owned and operated Kinsman Robinson Galleries announces the formation of the Norval Morrisseau Heritage Society (NMHS) in 2005, as a business extension partnership with his gallery.

Forever after, NMHS officers would operate as a branch plant operation of his business, authenticating Morrisseau paintings he had for sale, and denouncing, denigrating, or destroying paintings held by his business competitors, some forty art galleries and dealers across Canada.

Since 2001 three or four white businessmen – the Conspiracy Theorists – manipulated the Stroke, Dementia, and Parkinson’s debilitated, and entirely wheelchair confined Norval Morrisseau, by ruthlessly wielding his Power of Attorney to aggressively target for destruction, Morrisseau art in the hands of their business competitors.

The NMHS was part of that business operation.

The entire story remains the biggest HOAX in Canadian history.

Paul Robinson, and his father, Donald Robinson, claim Norval Morrisseau was the initiator who set up the Norval Morrisseau Heritage Society (NMHS) in 2005, picking its roster of academics from across Canada, writing its mission statement, surfing the net to root out and make a list of hundreds of so-called fakes, and supplying the paintings it was to use as templates for picking fakes from “real” Morrisseaus.

There remains one big problem:

By the time of this interview, in 2005, when the NMHS was founded, the severely Stroke, Dementia, and Parkinson’s debilitated wheelchair invalid artist Norval Morrisseau hasn’t been able to recognize anyone for years – neither friends or family members. In 2001 Wolf, Norval’s brother, testified he had only brief moments of lucidity.

Neither had he been able to speak or communicate with anyone for years as documented by numerous independent observers. In May 2005, Norval failed to even recognize his old buddy Gary Lamont; in 2006, he failed to recognize his own son Christian.

And no one, including the Robinsons had been able to produce a video showing Norval talking – let alone painting – in the last ten years of his life before he died in 2007.

Everything the Robinsons say about fakes originates only with them, their gallery staff, and Gabe Vadas, Norval’s “companion” who lives entirely on sales of paintings he supplies to KRG. It is all entirely hearsay, demanding that Canadians trust them on their word, because there is no credible evidence of any kind proving that Norval initiated the talk of fakes, the founding of the NMHS, or attacking people who helped him get established as an artist, by buying his 1970s paintings that he sold door to door, to stores, restaurants, churches, etc., by the thousands, all over northern Ontario.

In fact the NMHS has been operating as a thinly and poorly disguised branch plant operation of the Kinsman Robinson Galleries, since it was set up for that purpose in 2005.

The NMHS has been operating, ever since, as a secret organization, without transparency of any kind.

The NMHS officers have notoriously been operating, secretly, hand-in-glove with Donald Robinson and Paul Robinson, to denigrate paintings they don’t like and to “cleanse” them from exhibition catalogues etc., so that the public doesn’t get to see them, and to ensure that their asset value to their owners is destroyed in the market place. The game plan: to make everyone buy only from the Robinsons and Kinsman Robinson Galleries.

The NMHS has announced it recognizes only one approved authenticator of genuine Morrisseaus, the Robinson family’s Kinsman Robinson Galleries.

The NMHS officers are using the infamous Wanker 16, which were provided it by Donald Robinson as their template to destroy and denigrate paintings they want gone.

The NMHS officers have privately and secretly collaborated with Donald Robinson and his gallery staff to pick paintings they want to call fakes.

The NMHS continues its hand-in-glove collaboration with KRG even though two huge reports that took Donald Robinson six months each to produce, were totally dismissed by two separate judges in two separate cases as worthless, self-serving, and produced by a man who has no credentials as an art specialist or in handwriting analysis.

The NMHS continues to work hand-in-glove with the Robinson family even though two judges (Morgan & Martial) in two separate court cases ruled that Donald Robinson had a “hopeless conflict of interest” and was self-serving in his testimony, and not credible in what he testified to in court. Meaning, what he testified was clearly designed to promote his gallery, his family’s business and financial interests, his son, his stock of paintings, and to denigrate the art belonging to his business competitors.

14 – Norval Morrisseau Fraud – Joe McLeod, World’s Top Expert Denounces KRG business partnership

Joe McLeod, who has been Canada’s most respected and senior Morrisseau expert since he started dealing with Norval, his family, and his art in 1960, denounced Kinsman Robinson Galleries for setting out to control the market in Morrisseau art, by attacking the genuine art in the hands of its business competitors, in order to boost the value of paintings it had for sale.

Since 2001 three or four white businessmen — including Principal Conspiracy Theorists, Gabe Vadas, Paul Robinson, and Donald Robinson – manipulated the Stroke, Dementia, Alcohol Dementia, and Parkinson’s debilitated, and entirely wheelchair confined Norval Morrisseau, by ruthlessly wielding his Power of Attorney to aggressively target for destruction, Morrisseau art in the hands of their business competitors, some forty reputable art dealers across Canada.

15 – Norval Morrisseau – Canada’s Worst Case of Elder Abuse at the National Gallery of Canada 2006

The CBC’s Sandra Abma gives another shocking example of the shoddy and mindless reporting done by journalists failing to do due diligence and so promoting the Morrisseau HOAX.

This is an edited version of a CBC news video shot at the opening of the Norval Morrisseau Retrospective at the National Gallery of Canada in 2006.

Almost everything the CBC so-called art reporter, Sandra Abma, says about Morrisseau, and what is happening in front of her eyes, is false or hugely distorted out of all reality.

What her eyes are seeing is the worst case of elder abuse in Canadian history, but it’s not what she reports.

Her lack of due diligence, in investigating the truth of the twaddle she says to the camera, completely ignores the real truth about Norval:

FALSE – Abma claims Norval was only afflicted with Parkinson’s

She ignores, or does not know, the truth:

– that Norval was a victim of multiple Strokes, Dementia, Alcohol Dementia, as well as Parkinson’s

FALSE – Abma claims that “Today (Norval) is having his day at the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa” intimating that Norval knew what was going on.

She ignores, or does not know, the truth that Norval, hasn’t got a clue, and for years was not even aware of where he was, or gave a damn if he did. The facts are:

– that Norval had only brief moments of lucidity left before his mind went completely blank

– that Norval’s memory of his past paintings had completely gone

– reported by his brother Wolf in 2001-2002

– that Norval Morrisseau for a long time, had not been able to even recognize, at all, former close friends and family as they noted with great distress:

– Gary Lamont since May 2005

– his son Christian since 2006

– his old buddy Marlow Goring in 2006

FALSE – Abma claims “(Norval) has trouble speaking” — intimating that he actually could.

She ignores, or does not know, because she failed to do due diligence, the truth:

– that Norval had not been able to communicate or talk intelligibly with anyone for many years

– reliably reported by numerous observers in 2001, 2002

– that Norval could not say a single intelligible word to a CBC producer in 2003-2004

– that there had been no videotape or audio of Norval “talking” intelligibly for over a decade

FALSE – Abma claims “he no longer paints” intimating he stopped recently.

She ignores, or does not know, because she failed to do due diligence, the truth:

– that Norval has not been able to paint for many, many years

– that no video tape exists of Norval painting from at least the late 1980s onwards

– that Norval hired a skilled assistant painter, Karl Burrows, to paint for him in 1989

– that Burrows claims he painted many complete canvases for Norval in the 1990s and after

THE TRUTH – Abma is blind as a bat.

She fails to see, that Norval does not react to anyone, or anything, in any way, does not speak to, or respond to external stimuli of any kind. His eyes are fixed; he looks at nothing; he sees nothing. He does not wave to fans, greet old friends, or sign books. Anyone can see — but not Abma — that Norval is a vegetable being trundled about by a crass white businessman.

Why did Abma not do an interview with Norval, and persevere, give him the time of day, since he only had “trouble speaking?”

Why didn’t organizers get Norval to speak at the event? The audience would have been patient.

Why did Gabe Vadas, the puppeteer manipulating the “Dumb Indian” do all the talking, all the speechifying, all the time, at the National Gallery of Canada event, and in all the CBC videos.

The truth is, Norval is only a “body with a pulse” being used to promote sales of his art.

Abma is mindlessly unaware that she is not watching a Great Canadian Moment — as she pomposits – but the worst case of elder abuse in Canadian history, with a virtual corpse being trundled about as a photo op to aid the financial business interests of the man who has lived off Norval’s talent, paintings, and money as his sole source of income for some 20 years.

As a passionate still photographer, and longtime top Canadian cinematographer, for some fifty years, I would never take pictures of a corpse at an accident scene.

16 – Norval Morrisseau – Greg Hill & the National Gallery of Canada Promotes Cultural Genocide 1880-2014

Cultural genocide, long a tradition at the National Gallery of Canada, is promoted today by Greg Hill working with his business partners against the art heritage of Norval Morrisseau.

From 1880 on, when the National Gallery of Canada was founded as the nation’s premier showcase for the people’s art, till 2006, no Canadian Aboriginal artist was ever given his own Retrospective, a courtesy extended to countless white artists.

Like other government organizations during the same time period, the NGC and its curators, worked hand-in-glove, with passion and dedication, to “kill the Indian in the child” to try to expunge the artistic expressions and cultural memorabilia of Aboriginal peoples from the consciousness of the nation.

The notorious Duncan Campbell Scott, the one-time Director of Indian Affairs who passionately promoted this policy, has been listed as one of the ten worst Canadians of all time for his cultural genocidal mania.

Like the Department of Indian Affairs, which seized Indian children for placing and cleansing of their culture in residential schools, and to make them “white,” the NGC sought to destroy the concept of Indian art as fit company for the art of white Canadian artists.

For 126 years no Indian child could visit the National Gallery of Canada and see the art of its people validated as worthwhile in the premier art museum in Canada.

It gets worse.

While the National Gallery of Canada spent millions buying art from white artists, including non-Canadians, it spent not a dime on acquiring art by Norval Morrisseau, Canada’s top Aboriginal artist of all time.

The racist policy of the NGC was not directed at minorities; it definitely was not. The two biggest purchases by far, in its history, both multi-millions, were paid to acquire two paintings by two Jewish (American) artists.

While NGC executives had not spent even a nickel on Norval’s art by the time he was little more than a comatose vegetable in a wheelchair. Clearly they sneered at the fact that Norval had been awarded the Order of Canada in 1978, and was internationally celebrated for foreign art bureaucrats as a top world artist.

The racist exclusion was so awful that a Canadian couple had to donate two of Norval’s paintings to try to correct the racist slight of the art bureaucrats in Ottawa.

The cultural genocide was targeted deliberately at Canadian Aboriginals, treating them and their art as merely a historical curiosity that they hoped would soon enough die out, and was best placed in dusty museums relegated for “dead” stuff from days gone by.

Sandra Abma claims “Today (Norval) is having his day at the National Gallery of Canada in Ottawa,” when, in fact, it’s far too late for that, and gallery executives are only doing it to save themselves a huge embarrassment in the eyes of the world, lest Norval die before his art is recognized as worthwhile in Canada.

Overseas, in less racist countries, Norval had been hailed as an artist of international stature, for decades.

Now in Canada, by 2006, Norval’s body and mind have already been totally destroyed by multiple Strokes, Dementia, Alcohol Dementia, and Parkinson’s.

Norval has been comatose for years, and unable to even recognize family and friends.

He has not been able to talk or communicate for years.

At his Retrospective he is only a vegetable, a “body with a pulse,” who is being ruthlessly and coldly exploited and displayed by Gabe Vadas, as a sales prop, to aid and abet the sale of Norval’s art at Kinsman Robinson Galleries in Toronto.

Norval does not react to anyone, or anything, in any way, does not speak to, or respond to external stimuli of any kind. His eyes are fixed; he looks at nothing; he sees nothing. He does not wave to fans, greet old friends, or sign books. Anyone can see that Norval is a vegetable being trundled about by a crass white businessman.

The past obscenity of cultural genocide by the National Gallery of Canada, is far from over, and is, in fact, being carried on by Greg Hill, the Curator of Indigenous Art, to this very day.

Since he was hired, by embarrassed white NGC executives, to put on the face-saving Morrisseau Retrospective, he has worked passionately, hand-in-glove for years, with Ruth Phillips, whom he recruited, to work with private businessmen, Gabe Vadas and Donald Robinson, to promote their business interests, and to commit cultural genocide against the art of Norval Morrisseau.

Hill falsified the Retrospective Catalogue to help promote the private business interests of the Kinsman Robinson Galleries.

Hill and Phillips have maliciously declared fake, multiple genuine paintings by Norval Morrisseau – that were forensically certified as authentic – merely because Donald Robinson and his staff told them to.

He allowed them to parade the comatose quadriplegic Morrisseau as a business prop in the NGC.

He should be fired as a curator of Indigenous Art.
