Ritchie Sinclair – Malicious “Faux-nishinaabe” Artist, Guilty of Libel, Fined the Maximum, Totally Discredited & Scorched AGAIN, in Another Canadian Court

Putting his best face forward in a CBC broadcast is Notorious "Faux-nishinaabe" Impostor\Impersonator Ritchie Sinclair - totally discredited by judge after judge, after judge, after judge. Sinclair's fantastic fabrications about himself - besides numerous costumes, baubles, bangles, beads and feathers, and other personal adornments - include Goofy Bear Dancing, and a bewildering list of faked aliases including: "Stardreamer," "Anang Inaabandaan," "Shaman," "a native artist," "Morrisseau's protégé," "Morrisseau's designated successor," "Morrisseau's equal," etc. In fact he is just an aging, 58 year old delusional white man living in his roommate's apartment in downtown Toronto.

Found Guilty of Libel, Defamation, and Trade Libel, notorious “Faux-nishinaabe” artist and Indian Impostor\Impersonator Ritchie Sinclair – a 100% white man, living in his “roommate’s” apartment in downtown Toronto – was fined the maximum allowed –  $25,000 plus $3750 in costs – and scorched with a threat of $10,000 more as “punitive damages” by an outraged Deputy Judge CW Kilian in Toronto Superior Court, on Aug 5, 2015. Judge Kilian is now the seventh judge to have scorched Sinclair as having no credentials, no proof, no credible evidence, and/or no expertise for anything he says under oath in a Canadian court about Norval Morrisseau or his art. He is notorious for his over-the-top narcissism, for his racist attacks on leading Canadian Aboriginal artists and for being motivated by his obsessive malicious intent.

The Setup to a Trade Libel – Ritchie Sinclair, the hugely multiply-judicially discredited art terrorist at work on national television on CTV’s Canada AM, with the help of his “collaborating friends,” including CTV’s art expert, its “culturally challenged” weatherman and sports guy Jeff Hutcheson. Inconceivable as it may be to ordinary decent Canadians, the Faux-nishinaabe art fraudster Sinclair, had no trouble in recruiting Mayberry Fine Art to donate a painting for Sinclair to use as a weapon (shown above) to specifically attack Artworld, a highly reputable but major fine art business competitor, so helping the discredited Sinclair to fraudulently showcase one of Artworld’s Morrisseau paintings as a “complete forgery.”  NOTE HOW CTV RECOMMENDS THE MULTIPLY-DISCREDITED SINCLAIR TO CTV VIEWERS AS HAVING – “tips on how to distinguishing (sic) what’s real and what’s fake.” IN THIS WAY, BY HAVING FAILED TO DO DUE DILIGENCE BEFORE “PUBLISHING,” CTV AIDS AND ABETS CULTURAL GENOCIDE AGAINST THE GENUINE ART OF NORVAL MORRISSEAU AND DEVALUES THE GENUINE ART OF THOUSANDS OF CANADIANS WHO OWN MORRISSEAUS.

As well as deliberately involving itself in an ethical and moral lapse of the highest order, I consider Mayberry as complicit in Libeling and Defaming, a painting, "Wheel of Life 1979" which it very well knew was genuine, because it had only weeks before been 100% authenticated by two judges in Ontario courts. I consider what Mayberry Fine Art did an affront against all Canadian fine art collectors and a deliberate act of Trade Libel against Artworld.

Two “Fraud Artists” in Action – As well as deliberately involving itself in an ethical lapse and moral breach of the highest order, I consider Mayberry as complicit in Libeling and Defaming a painting, “Wheel of Life 1979,” which it very well knew was genuine, because it had only weeks before been 100% authenticated by two judges in Ontario courts. I consider what Mayberry Fine Art did an affront against all Canadian fine art collectors, an egregious and deliberate act of Trade Libel against Artworld, and an unforgivable act of cultural genocide against Canadian Aboriginal people. MULTIPLE PARTIES ARE SUING CTV FOR ITS HUGELY NEGLIGENT ROLE IN ALLOWING SINCLAIR TO FRAUDULENTLY SLANG A GENUINE PAINTING AS PART OF A BUSINESS SCAM.

Clearly Judge Kilian, who was not aware of the CTV fraud, was more than a little outraged by the other evidence and testimony he saw displayed before him, alleging – without the slightest proof or substantiation – that White was selling forgeries, including – in one case – a painting White had never, ever even owned or handled.

Since October 2008, Ritchie Sinclair has been famously involved as the “Enforcer” for Toronto’s Kinsman Robinson Galleries (since 2008), and as a close associate of Toronto lawyer Jonathan Jerome Sommer (since 2009), working in tandem with them to promote the HOAX of “thousands of Morrisseau fakes by umpteen forgers” that has been totally discredited by forensic experts and multiple judges in multiple courts.

Deputy Judge CW Kilian is now the seventh (7th) judge to have dismissed, rejected, or scorched Ritchie Sinclair as not a believable or trustworthy witness, and/or found him to make false and/or unsubstantiated claims about events, about art, himself, his credentials, etc., and especially about his self-proclaimed experience or expertise on the art of Norval Morrisseau: The Hon Justice Thomas A Lederer 2008, Judge MD Godfrey 2011, Deputy Judge Warren McCrea 2012, Deputy Judge Paul J Martial 2013, The Hon Justice Alphonse T Lacavera 2013, The Hon Madam Justice Mary Anne Sanderson 2013, Deputy Judge CW Kilian 2015.

It was not Gabe Vadas, Norval's Principal Caregiver, and Norval's Power of Attorney, and not Don Robinson, Norval's Principal Morrisseau Dealer who called Norval's seven children to tell them their father had died while in their care. They kept the secret for two days while they made feverish preparations to "burn" the evidence by scheduling a cremation. Jim White was blown away that they had not told the family even two days after Norvl died.

Great Canadian Cultural Hero James White. No one I know of has done more, or paid a bigger price, for standing up, from the beginning, against the fraudsters alleging Morrisseau “fakes” than art dealer and longtime Morrisseau family confidant and supporter, James White. It was NOT Gabe Vadas, Norval’s Principal Caregiver, and Norval’s Power of Attorney since 1990, and NOT Donald Robinson, Norval’s “Principal Morrisseau Dealer” since 1990, and NOT their longtime associating and enabling lawyer Aaron Milrad,  who called Norval’s seven children to tell them their father had died while in their care. They kept the secret for two days while they made feverish preparations to “burn” the “evidence” AKA Norval the TIBWAP, by scheduling a cremation. Jim White was blown away that they had not told the family even two days after Norval had died. It was James, not the businessmen who had made millions off Norval who paid to bring Norval’s children to Toronto to make funeral arrangements…

Sinclair’s malicious and fraudulent attacks on reputable Canadian business people and their genuine Morrisseau paintings, published by a witless, gullible, and negligent mainstream media, have resulted in lawsuits initiated by different parties against Sinclair personally but also against: Postmedia (Toronto), CTV (Toronto), SAW Gallery (Ottawa).

Sinclair’s last previous outing in a court was as a witness for Toronto lawyer Jonathan Jerome Sommer in Hatfield v Artworld, where he was hugely scorched and dismissed by Deputy Judge Paul J Martial as not credible on any level.

Ritchie Sinclair’s Perjury – Sinclair was also cited for perjury before Madam Justice Mary Anne Sanderson by winning Defence counsel Brian Shiller, related to the damning “Kevin Cott Incident.”

In the summer of 2008, Ritchie Sinclair, hoping to win a showcase for his art at Toronto’s Liss Gallery, had advised one of the gallery’s clients – a passionate art collector Kevin Cott – to buy a specific “wonderful Morrisseau.” So Cott bought “Season of Rut for Moose 1977” for $27,000.

A few months later, and tellingly, after failing to win a showcase for his Faux-nishinaabe art at the Liss Gallery, Sinclair posted the painting on his website as a “forgery,” without telling Cott.

Four years later, in 2012, I heard and saw Cott testify in court, that he only learned about Sinclair’s duplicity – that he called his painting a fake – a few weeks before he was asked to testify against Sinclair in Hatfield v Artworld.

Sinclair claimed he never told Cott the painting was genuine, that Cott was lying.

The courts, and Defense counsel Brian Shiller, saw it differently, as Sinclair lying and taking revenge on a gallery that refused to represent his “Faux-nishinaabe” art.

Note: It is wise to remember that only a few months after telling Cott that “Moose in Rut” was a wonderful and genuine Morrisseau, that Sinclair abruptly changed his opinion, from praising countless Morrisseau BDP paintings as “masterpieces” and “wonderful” on multiple web sites, to calling exactly the same paintings as forgeries and fakes. Within only a few days he posted 1,000 low res images of paintings he had never seen or handled in person, as fakes, on Oct. 13, 2008, on his malicious and defamatory web site.

One of the masks stolen by Canadian government operatives sold off to private collections and not repatriated till heavy liftying by First Nations rights organizations put on the pressure in the 1980s and 90s.

One of the potlatch masks stolen by Canadian government operatives in 1921, from the First Nations people of Vancouver Island, BC, sold off to private collections and not repatriated till heavy lifting by First Nations rights organizations put on the pressure in the 1980s and 90s to have many returned. I saw this one up close, in the U’mista Museum, in Alert Bay, in 2005,  from where it had been stolen by “greedy white men” and sold off for personal pecuniary gain. Many of the 600 items of course, will never be found or returned. THIS MUSEUM ALLOWS ABORIGINAL CHILDREN FOR THE FIRST TIME, TO GO TO A MUSEUM AND VALIDATE THEMSELVES AND THEIR RICH CULTURAL PAST, SOMETHING THEY COULD NEVER DO IN THE NATIONAL GALLERY OF CANADA UNTIL AFTER 2000, BECAUSE UNTIL THEN IT TREATED ABORIGINAL ART AND CULTURE DISMISSIVELY AS TOURIST TRASH NOT WORTHY TO RUB SHOULDERS WITH THE ART OF GOOD WHITE ARTISTS.

Hey! What the hell has suddenly changed?

Simple, Dear Diary: Ritchie Sinclair had suddenly decided – after his “Faux-nishinaabe” art show at the Scollard Gallery had disastrously failed, just before the bankruptcy of the gallery – to accept “My Mentor,” Donald Robinson’s offer to become an “enforcer” for Toronto’s Kinsman Robinson Galleries, and to subscribe to and to promote KRG’s fraudulent claim that there are “thousands of fakes by umpteen forgers” out there…

Their accomplishments: destroying the valuation of genuine Morrisseau paintings to the tune – by one estimate – of $100 million, thus committing the greatest act of cultural genocide against Aboriginal peoples in Canadian history. This slides to a distant second place, the Canadian Government’s own ignominious, and malicious theft, and dispersion for pecuniary gain, of some 600 Kwakwaka’wakw religious and ceremonial artifacts taken from the people of Alert Bay, and environs, BC, in 1921.

In 2015 Sinclair is still at it though multiple court actions have totally and without caveat or qualification, discredited him, his KRG “Mentor,” and their allegations about so-called Morrisseau “fakes.”

Deputy Judge CW Kilian’s judgment is just one of the most total discrediting of Ritchie Sinclair to date.

A magnificent painting, "Season of Rut for Moose," purchased by Kevin Cott, that became the proof for Ritchie Sinclisrs perjury accusation.

A magnificent painting, “Season of Rut for Moose,” purchased by Kevin Cott, that became the evidence for Ritchie Sinclair’s perjury accusation by Brian Shiller before the Hon. Madam Justice Mary Anne Sanderson. It was a James White consignment to the Liss Gallery.

Brian Shiller, the Defendant's Counsel, and champion of "Wheel of Life 1979" as a genuine work by Norval Morrisseau won his case hands down in every detail, delivering a total knock-out the Jonathan Sommer and his witnesses, Margaret Hatfield, Donald Robinson, and his business associate, Ritchie Sinclair.

Brian Shiller, represented Jim White in his winning lawsuit. He is batting 4 for 4 in fighting the malicious fraudsters and scammers promoting that there are “thousands of fakes by umpteen forgers” out there. He won a decisive case against Jonathan Sommer before Judge Martial. He won a decisive Appeal over Jonathan Sommer before Justice Sanderson. He succeeded a third time against Jonathan Sommer, when he convinced a Sommer client’ John McDermott to suddenly abandon his McDermott v Maslak McLeod case, rather than risk going to trial. And now he has won a decisive Libel and Defamation case against Ritchie Sinclair, famous for being Jonathan Sommer’s witness and close collaborator in the courts and the media in advancing the HOAX.

As well as being a witness for Sommer, I have observed Sinclair, on multiple occasions (2011-2013), in multiple courts (Small Claims & Divisional Court) vigorously acting as Sommer’s legal advisor (Sinclair does have some high school), even though Sinclair was neither a Defendant or a Plaintiff in those actions.

Sinclair along with his roommate, Garth Cole, have worked separately or in tandem, as Sommer’s legal assistants in document serving (2013-2014).

Sinclair has also been hugely involved in using his website and media outings to openly and specifically promote Jonathan Sommer’s Morrisseau “fakes” related legal cases, including scorching Judge Martial after he hugely dismissed Sommer’s Hatfield v Artworld case, accusing him of making some 35 judicial mistakes. Where would Sinclair, a community college dropout, possibly get detailed legal information like that?

Both Sommer and Sinclair often appear in the same media articles promoting the same discredited allegations about “fakes,” when neither they, nor anyone else, has ever proven a single “fake” to exist, and all the paintings the duo has targeted were proven both by judges and forensic scientists to be 100% genuine.

I do not know of a witness, in Canadian legal history who has been more discredited than Ritchie Sinclair, unless it is Donald Robinson whom Sinclair calls “My Mentor.”

Separately (May 9, 2013) and together (Mar 7, 2014) Sinclair and Cole have worked as document servers for Toronto entertainment lawyer Jonathan Jerome Sommer. On Mar 7, court security accosted Sinclair and ordered him to remove pictures he had taken inside Brampton court house, of witnesses and Plaintiffs, in flagrant violation of court rules, as he was documenting a Sommer “service.” Sinclair had previously been warned on two occasions by court security in Toronto court houses “to Cease & Desist” photographing people as it was NOT ALLOWED. But then, just like everyone else, he very well knew it; it’s just that normal rules of ethics and morality do not apply to Ritchie Sinclair, when he talks, and when he acts. Shown by his recent  conviction for Libel and Defamation, and his “over the top” penalty, for victimizing a decent and reputable art dealer James White with egregious and fraudulent claims and falsehoods.

For more information about the lawyer who chooses to use and work with these multiply-discredited witnesses, over and over again, even though the evidence is overwhelming and hugely documented that they are involved in promoting and perpetuating the “greatest fraud in Canadian art history,” resulting in the biggest act of cultural genocide against Aboriginal peoples in Canadian history.
